Before the vocabulary becomes more precise, here is the whole loop. Naming it will not place us outside it.

Something happens.

No one receives all of it. A person encounters signals: words, light, tone, pressure, timing, body sensation, consequence. At the same time, older material becomes available: memories, learned patterns, social expectations, documents, habits, roles, wounds, skills, and whatever the current environment has made easy to retrieve.

A quiet set of instructions shapes what happens next. What matters here? What should be noticed? What deserves the most weight? What kind of situation is this?

From that meeting of present signal and archived trace, a lived world assembles. Something feels dangerous, insulting, hopeful, ordinary, urgent, or familiar. The body prepares. An action becomes more available than its alternatives.

Then the person interprets: She's annoyed. They are refusing to pay me. We agreed to proceed. I am failing. This is my chance.

The person acts. The reply is sent. The meeting is joined. The complaint is filed. The summary is pasted. The action changes the situation and leaves new traces. Those traces become available to future experience.
